About the Foundation
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of JULABO GmbH, General Manager Markus Juchheim has established the JULABO Foundation. The goal of the foundation is to distribute donations in the amount of 50,000 Euro within the anniversary year. The foundation should support non-profit organizations, associations, and institutions in the Seelbach region.
Does your organization, association, or institution support non-profit, cultural, or social work in and around Seelbach? Then apply for the 2017 grant of the JULABO Foundation.
As the largest employer in Seelbach, JULABO has developed and produced high-precision temperature control for 50 years. We offer cool refrigeration technology starting from -95 °C and heating circulators up to +400 °C. What do you associate with the motto “cold & hot”, with cold and heat?
All submitted suggestions will be reviewed and evaluated by a jury. The most meaningful applications will receive a grant. The winners will be notified in writing. The ten most meaningful applications will receive a prize. Be creative – everything is possible. Send us videos, posters, songs, photos, poems, etc.

The Founder of the Foundation
Markus Juchheim describes himself as globally acting entrepreneur – with local roots and focus, and acting and thinking globally. He has managed and controlled the successful, family-owned company JULABO GmbH in the second generation since 2007. The company was founded in 1967 by his father, Gerhard Juchheim, and is well positioned internationally with 11 subsidiaries and an export share of 70 %. With the establishment of the JULABO Foundation, Markus Juchheim emphasizes his local involvement and affirms his sustainable support of the region.
